What is #GivingTuesday?
#GivingTuesday is a global generosity movement unleashing the power of people and organizations to transform their communities and the world. This year’s Giving Tuesday is December 1st, 2020.
What are donations used for?
RCPA will use funds raised during #GivingTuesday to support its mission to create a diverse, inclusive space for musical expression that promotes the equity and visibility of LGBTQIA+ musicians and allies. This includes investing in musical instruments, equipment, software, and personal protective equipment to expand accessibility and provide for our members’ health in the pandemic. Expanding our library of music to include more diverse (including queer and BIPOC) composers is a high priority to meet the goal of expanding representation of diverse identities in our performances.
Donations will also support our artistic staff and contractors who have big dreams for future productions!
